The Roof Work We Do
We do five kinds of work: roof replacement, roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters. Every job starts the same way, with a close inspection of your roof and a straightforward account of what we saw. Each service has its own page with the details.

Roof Replacement
A full tear-off and rebuild, from the deck to the ridge, with each material choice and its tradeoffs walked through before you decide.

Roof Repair
Leaks, lifted shingles and worn flashing traced to their source and repaired with matched materials, with each option laid out before we start.

Roof Inspections
A careful look at your shingles, flashing, vents and attic, with photos and a plain account of what each finding means for your home.

Storm Damage Repair
After hail or high wind, we check every slope, photograph what we find, and explain whether your roof needs a repair or more.

Gutters
New continuous gutters, replacement runs and repairs, with gutter size, downspout placement and pitch explained so you know what each choice does.

A Roofing Company That Answers Questions First
Roofing Minco works on homes in and around Minco. We started from a simple idea: a homeowner who understands the job makes a better decision than one who is rushed into it. So we take the time to explain. What a cracked pipe boot looks like. Why granule loss matters. What hail bruising does to a shingle even when the surface looks fine.
Central Oklahoma roofs take a lot. Spring hail, strong straight-line winds and summer heat all wear on shingles and flashing. We choose materials and installation details with that in mind, and we take the same care with the finished look as with the parts you will never see.

What Sets the Cost of a Roof
Houses of the same age can end up with very different roofing bills. The number depends on how big and how complex your roof is, what condition the layers below the shingles are in, and which materials you pick. We go through each piece with you before any price comes up.
After the inspection, you receive a written, itemized estimate, with real alternatives listed side by side. If something new turns up once the old roof is off, we show it to you and talk it over before doing any extra work.
- How big, how steep, how cut up
- A larger roof takes more shingles and more hours. Steep pitches and roofs broken up by hips, valleys and dormers slow the crew down and need extra flashing and safety gear.
- Extra layers to strip
- Some older houses have a second roof of shingles laid right over the first. Tearing off both takes longer and means more weight to haul off.
- The decking underneath
- Soft or water-marked plywood must be swapped out before new shingles go down. That kind of damage usually stays hidden until tear-off, so we agree with you beforehand on how any decking replacement would be handled and billed.
- The material you pick
- Architectural shingles, impact-rated shingles and metal panels each sit at a different point on price and expected life. Impact-rated shingles cost more up front, and with the hail we get, some owners find that worthwhile. It is worth asking your insurance agent if your policy offers a credit for them.
- Flashing, vents and gutters
- Chimneys, skylights, pipe boots and attic vents each need careful detail work. Putting in new gutters as part of the roof job adds to the price but can save you a second disruption down the road.
Why Homeowners Choose Us
Most people only buy a roof once or twice. We think you should understand what you are paying for, so we give real time to talking it through.
Options in everyday words
We spell out the difference between a repair and a replacement, between standard architectural shingles and impact-rated ones, between sealing a leak and rebuilding the flashing that caused it. You hear what each choice costs and roughly how long it should last. Then the decision is yours.
An Oklahoma CIB roofing license
We hold an Oklahoma CIB roofing license for the work we do on your home. Ask to see it when we visit.
A rating you can check yourself
Our BBB A+ rating is public. You can look it up before you ever let us onto your roof.
A 10-year workmanship warranty
Our installation work carries a 10-year workmanship warranty. That covers how we put the roof together, such as nailing, flashing and the details around vents and valleys. Defects in the materials themselves fall under the manufacturer's own coverage, and we tell you which is which.
Care with the finish
Straight drip edge, ridge caps set in a clean line, sealant used where it belongs and nowhere else. We cover flower beds, protect the driveway, and run a magnetic sweep for nails before we leave each day.
Where We Work
Minco is home base, and our crews travel to houses throughout the towns around it. That covers Tuttle, Mustang, Yukon, El Reno and Chickasha, plus Bethany, Newcastle, Blanchard, Warr Acres and Anadarko. Homes range from older ranch houses to newer builds, and the way we lay out options and run a job does not change from one town to the next.

How We Run a Roof Job
A single pipe boot or a whole new roof follows the same steps. Only the size of the job differs.
- 1
Starting with a call
You describe what you have seen, like a ceiling stain, shingles gone after a windstorm or gutters overflowing. We ask a few questions and pick a time to visit.
- 2
A careful look, with photos
We get up on the roof and into the attic when we can reach it. We photograph shingles, flashing, vents and decking so you see what we saw while staying on the ground.
- 3
Written options
We sit with you, review the photos and explain each choice plainly: what it solves, what it costs and how long it should hold up. The written estimate breaks the work out line by line.
- 4
Work day
We guard your landscaping and driveway, keep the site tidy and let you know what noise and timing to expect. When your town calls for a permit, we get it.
- 5
Cleanup and a walk-through together
Before leaving, we run a magnet over the lawn and driveway, haul off the old material and look over the finished roof with you, showing the details worth knowing.

What Homeowners Want to Know
Does my roof need fixing or replacing?
It depends on how old the roof is, how widespread the damage is and what condition the decking is in. A handful of lifted shingles or a single failed pipe boot on an otherwise sound roof usually calls for a repair. Bare spots across every slope, brittle or curling shingles, or leaks that keep moving around point toward replacement. We show you photos, tell you which way we lean, and say so when a repair will last.
What should I look for after a hailstorm or strong wind?
From the ground, look for shingles that are gone or folded over, dents in gutters and downspouts, and granules piling up below downspouts. Inside, check ceilings and the attic for fresh stains. Hail bruises are often invisible from below, so we go up and photograph the shingles up close. Our storm damage repair page has more.
Will you help me with an insurance claim?
We document the damage with photos and a written summary you can hand to your insurer, and we can walk you through how claims usually go and what adjusters look at. We do not act as your adjuster or negotiate on your behalf. Your insurance company decides what is covered.
Which shingle should I choose?
Most homes around here do well with architectural shingles, which are thicker and last longer than old three-tab shingles. Impact-rated shingles hold up better in hail and cost more up front. Metal is another option, with a different look and price. We set the choices side by side and talk through how each fits your home and budget.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Many homes take one or two working days, though a larger or steeper roof, extra layers to remove or decking repairs can stretch that. Weather plays a part as well, and we do not open a roof when rain is on the way. You get an expected schedule before work begins and updates as it goes.
Do you work on gutters as well as roofs?
Yes. We install and replace gutters and downspouts, and we look them over during every roof inspection. Gutters that are undersized, sagging or pitched the wrong way can send water behind the fascia and toward the foundation. Our Gutters page covers the options.

Start With a Clear Look at Your Roof
Describe what caught your eye, whether a ceiling stain, a missing shingle or an overflowing gutter, and we will arrange a visit, photograph the roof, and go over our findings in everyday terms. What happens after that is your call.
